Getting started with Accura is simple. Pick the path that matches where you are today:
I'm ready to onboard: Email your final draft spending plan to our Intake Team: intake@accurafms.com(mailto:intake@accurafms.com)
I'm still evaluating FMS: Book a consultation call (accurafms.com)and we’ll walk you through our portal and processes so you can decide confidently.
What happens after you send your spending plan?
Once we receive your final draft spending plan, we take it from there:
1. Intake review (we review your plan): Our Intake Team reviews your spending plan and confirms everything looks good.
2. Green light: We’ll approve your plan and officially start your onboarding process (typically a month before your start date).
3. Send for Regional Center signatures: After the green light, it’s the right time to send your plan for Regional Center signatures.
4. Dedicated onboarding manager: An Accura Onboarding Manager guides you step-by-step and coordinates with your Regional Center and Independent Facilitator to keep everything on track for your start date.
5. Provider onboarding (before your start date): Your Onboarding Manager also helps ensure your providers/vendors are onboarded and ready prior to your start date.
Bottom line: You send the plan, we guide the process, and we help make sure everything is ready before services begin.
We currently support the following Financial Management Services (FMS) Models for Self-Determination Program (SDP).
Bill Payer - Identify your list of vendors. We will take care of onboarding, invoices and payments for you. This model only pays bills and do not support hiring employees.
Co-Employer - Identify your list of vendors and caregivers. We will take care of onboarding, their salaries, employer taxes and workers comp insurance for them. This is the model of choice for most participants.
Sole Employer - We do not offer Sole employer for new clients
Yes, we accept transfers from other Financial Management Services (FMS) providers. Our digital onboarding process ensures a smooth transition with minimal disruption to your Self-Determination Program (SDP) services. Your dedicated case manager will collaborate with your Regional Center to obtain your approved spending plan and authorizations. At the same time, we’ll facilitate onboarding into our client portal, allowing you to add vendors and employees efficiently. This parallel approach helps expedite the transfer.

Yes, we provide portal access to Clients, employees, vendors, Independent Facilitators, and Service Coordinators. Vendors can submit invoices via their portal, while Clients and employees can manage timesheets and track them in real time—no more phone calls or support tickets.

With our advanced digital platform that tracks every spending transaction in real time, we can revise spending plans more quickly than ever before. We are constrained only by the time taken by Regional center for approval or revisions.
You can easily move funds between vendors and employees within a service code at any time, without the need for spending plan revisions or additional approvals.
If you need to transfer funds between service codes within the same category or across categories, you need to send the spending plan for your Regional Center approval - no revision is needed. However if it's more than 10%, your Regional Center might require you to revise the plan. This is dictated by Regional Center guidelines.
Moving of funds across is an essential component of self-determination and our platform ensures that this process is as efficient as possible.
